Happy Birthday, Sara Kate!
We decided to do a girls night out / guys night out. The ladies went to outback for some yummy dinner and the boys started out at the dog track, but it was raining so they headed over to Harmonious Monks.. as we finished up dinner the boys started texting us, and we ended up at Harmonious Monks too.. so much for girls night / guys night.. oh well, we had a blast anyway! well, not counting the encounter in the parking lot, but thats a whole different story!
Since we spent the day in Bainbridge, Adam and I decided not to have a big new years party this year, so we spent New Years Eve at home with several of our close friends. We had a wonderful time, but I really missed out on hearing the “You were right, I was wrong..” speech the next morning!
We spent new years day in Bainbridge celebrating Christmas with my mom’s side of the family at my Aunt Martha’s house. This was our first “Christmas” in Bainbridge with my family. We both had a wonderful time, this time of year always seems to remind me how important family is – this year more than ever.
We spent 4 days (December 16-20th) in Lake Tahoe with our friends, and we had an AMAZING time – we should definitely make this into a yearly trip!

A million times we’ve needed you.
A million times we’ve cried.
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.
My cousin Gage is an offensive lineman for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. They had an amazing season this year and played against Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship game here in Jacksonville. Adam and I were lucky enough to get tickets to see him play for the 2nd time this season.
